We have had a terrific response to our fundraisers:

The turnout we had at the Howard County Fair was incredible! So many people stopped by our booth, congratulated us on what we are doing, and made donations! We were humbled and overwhelmed by the support and love. Thanks to each and every one of you who stopped by, entered a raffle, donated money, gave us a supportive comment, patted us on the back, admired our beautiful horses....well, you get the idea.
Our Yard Sale was a wonderful success! We held it over two days, and learned a lot, such as the Saturday morning early birds are going to be there at 8 am, insisting that we let them shop, no matter how many stalls we have left to clean. And the Sunday morning crowd doesn't come in full force until 11 and later. We had to close around 1 on Saturday due to persistent rain storms, but that's when 4 more carloads of people cruised in. We plan to hold some more yard sales - hope we'll see you there!
What's next? Well, we have some great fundraising ideas that we'll bring to you soon. If anyone has some ideas that they want to share with us, please drop us a line and let us know. We humbly and gratefully learn from others, and would love to know what you'd like to see/attend, and what events have worked well for others.
