Forgotten Thoroughbreds, Inc.

Every horse deserves a quality second career

A non-profit Center of Excellence dedicated to the retraining, rehabilitation, and adoption of Thoroughbreds

Forgotten Thoroughbreds, Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) pending organization that was created to address the specific needs of Thoroughbreds. Whether the horse is retired from racing due to various reasons (such as injury, poor performance, age, etc.) or was never deemed quite good enough to start on the track, Forgotten Thoroughbreds wants to assist in the rehabilitation, retraining, and adoption of these magnificent animals.

We have created a Center of Excellence for the all-inclusive care of our Thoroughbreds. Our expertise in equine nutrition, physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, handling, exercise, fitness, overall care, rehabilitation, and training is applied individually to each horse that comes through our doors. We develop a comprehensive individualized plan for each horse, and maintain an extensive portfolio as he/she progresses.

You don’t have to be a “horsey person” to become involved. We welcome all to help us, and will be glad to teach those eager to learn about these beautiful horses, so that you can enjoy the rewards of working with them.
